Information about Covid-19 and schools

The South Australian State School Administrative Officers Association was first formed in 1974 and has evolved from small beginnings to representing primary, secondary, special, area and combined schools across our state.

If you are a non-teaching staff member who is responsible for management of business, finance or human resources in a South Australian government school, then you are eligible to become a member of SASSAOA. Registration for membership is due annually aligned with a school year, ie from January to December and is currently $110 per annum inc GST. The membership fee is reviewed each year.  We endeavour to price all events economically to keep costs as low as possible for sites.

    SASSAOA offers professional development to members and non-members including:

  • An annual 3 day residential conference held in the first week of the July school holidays

    Please Note: Due to Covid-19 the 2020 conference that was scheduled for July was postponed and a virtual conference & AGM was held on 6 July 2020.
  • One members only Leaders’ Day – usually late term 1 or early term 2

  • One Seminar Day in term 4.
